Is This Your First Massage?
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first massage appointment to fill out paperwork. Your massage therapist will then escort you to the massage room - a tranquil atmosphere, with calming music, relaxing scents and soft lighting. Prior to your massage, you and your therapist will go over your paperwork and any areas of the body that you feel need attention and to focus on.
After a brief discussion, your therapist will leave the room so you may get undressed. Undress to whatever level you feel comfortable and then lie down on the table and cover yourself with the sheet. Your therapist is an expert at draping techniques and will ensure you are properly covered at all times, only exposing the parts of your body she is working on in that moment.
During your massage it is important for you to feel relaxed. Remember to breathe normally and relax your muscles. Your therapist will check in with you to ask how you are doing, how the pressure is or with any instruction, such as moving positions or on breathing. You definitely do not need to wait until asked to give your therapist feedback. In fact, you are encouraged to check in with your therapist any time you need to, during your session.
After your massage your therapist will let you know to dress and meet back in the lobby. From here, our Infinity staff will welcome you back and then guide you to your next appointment.
